Robert and Son Paving runs every job from 6856 Reliance Rd in Federalsburg, down in the southern corner of Caroline County on the Marshyhope Creek. It is a useful place to work from. MD 307, MD 306, MD 313 and MD 318 all meet near town, so Denton and Preston are a short run north, Hurlock and Cambridge are west, and US 50 and US 13 put Easton, Trappe and Salisbury inside an easy morning.
We cover Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot, Queen Anne's, Wicomico and Anne Arundel counties in Maryland, plus Sussex County over the Delaware line. Every one of those towns gets the same third generation paving crew that has worked this ground for three generations: the same base work underneath, the same two year warranty, and the same people from the estimate to the last pass of the roller. How far will you travel for a job?
Our home ground is Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot, Queen Anne's, Wicomico and Anne Arundel counties in Maryland, plus Sussex County in Delaware. Call and tell us where you are and we will tell you straight whether we cover it.
Do you charge more for towns further from Federalsburg?
No. The number on your estimate covers the job wherever you are inside our service area. If a property is genuinely too far for us to look after properly, we will say so instead of pricing it and hoping.
Is it the same crew in every town?
Yes. We are a third generation family business with our own crew and our own equipment, so the people who measure your driveway in Denton or Salisbury are the people who pave it.
Do you work on commercial property as well as homes?
Both, across the whole service area. Churches, stores, apartment and mobile home communities, farms and small industrial lots get the same crew as a family driveway, built heavier for the traffic they carry.
Can you get to Kent Island and the western shore?
Yes. Stevensville and Chester sit on Kent Island at the foot of the Bay Bridge, and we cross into Anne Arundel County as well. Those jobs get scheduled together where we can, so tell us early if you are over that way.
Do you cover Delaware?
We work Sussex County, which runs right up against Caroline and Dorchester counties on the state line. The work is the same on either side of it, and so is the free estimate.
